Summary :
Supports electrical and automation control systems development and troubleshooting Plant-wide. Design and implement controls improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve reliability.
Job Responsibilities :
- Designs and implements modifications to existing electrical system which includes robotics, automation equipment and CNC machines.
- Solicits bids, selects contractors, and coordinates activities with internal departments.
- Ensures projects are completed within budget and on schedule, ensuring that the vendors follows all safety requirements.
- Coordinates and supervises major maintenance, emergency repairs, and corrective actions on equipment and facilities.
- Maintains necessary records and documentation, preparing management reports, as necessary.
- Implement and maintain computerized PLC and CNC
- Continuous improvement working with IT department and integrated process monitoring systems.
- Follow plant's standards for filing and maintaining documentation per ISO standards. Maintains up-to date machine design documentation for all machines.
- Reviews engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility and recommends changes, as necessary.
- Prepare, manage and implement capital budget projects. Support Six Sigma projects
- Facilitate effective communication to plant management on project status.
