JOB CONTENT
We are currently seeking a candidate who has the desire to prove
that industry can do it!
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspection of incoming
materials; to sample and test materials for quality using various
techniques such as screening, bulk density measurements and various other
mechanical properties.
At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving a common purpose. Your
role will be to:
* Perform testing on In-House blended materials for consistency and
provide appropriate adjustments when needed.•
* Assist in formulation of products and provide information to
manufacturing team.•
* Mix, mold, and press sample products (lab bars) for testing.•
* Operate United Testing Machine, Grindo-Sonic machine, and other lab
equipment.•
* Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment and handle miscellaneous
projects.•
* Maintain accurate records and data of all tests and inspections.•
* Perform calibrations throughout the facility.•
* Assist in the maintenance of the Calibration Manager database.•Assist
with data entry and processing.•
* Support and participate in the ISO 9001 and 14001 quality improvement
process and document control process.•
* Ensure completed work complies with health, safety, quality, and
environmental standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
* Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office).
* Associate degree related to Quality Management or previous work
experience a plus.
* SAP knowledge a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated and can work independently and/or within a team
setting.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
