Loch Lloyd Country Club is seeking dedicated and reliable Lifeguards for the 2025 pool season. The ideal candidates will have a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of pool guests, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a fun and safe environment at our resort-style pool. Candidates must be responsible, proactive, and able to handle any emergency situation effectively.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers at all times.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, administering CPR, first aid, or other lifesaving measures as needed.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all members and guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members and guests with any pool-related inquiries or concerns.
- Work as part of a team with other lifeguards and staff to maintain high standards of safety and service.
- Attend mandatory training and meetings as required by the Country Club.
Qualifications:
- Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent).
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to emergency situations quickly.
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Schedule & Hours:
- Pool is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Flexible hours ranging from 20-40 hours per week, with varying shifts.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is preferred.
