We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and automotive repair, with the ability to fabricate and weld as needed. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients to understand their needs and provide high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Fabricate parts as necessary and weld components to restore vehicles to their original condition.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Conduct thorough auto estimating to assess the extent of damage and provide accurate repair timelines.
- Install auto glass as required, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes, timelines, and any additional services needed.
- Collaborate with team members in a dealership environment to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto body repair and automotive repair is essential.
- Proficiency in fabricating, welding, and using hand tools specific to the trade.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
