A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DISPATCHER / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
As a full-time Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative, you arrive at the office each day ready to ensure that our clients are being heard and receiving the best service possible. You answer incoming client calls and dispatch service calls to field technicians. While performing your dispatching duties, you schedule calls to provide prompt, convenient service, as well as maximize our field technicians' time and mileage. By understanding the skills, strengths, and weaknesses of our field technicians, you are always able to dispatch the right tech for the job! Always keeping clients informed, you notify them when technicians are on their way and if there are any delays.
When our clients call in, your upbeat, helpful demeanor comes through as you assist them. Your thorough knowledge of our products and services helps you to easily answer questions. Although most of your phone calls are incoming, you also make outbound calls to schedule maintenance appointments and follow up on previous estimates/service calls. In your downtime, you maintain and tidy the staff kitchen area, restroom, and conference area. You enjoy interacting with our clients and technicians and love keeping busy with a variety of tasks. You feel good about ensuring that our clients are satisfied, all parties are well-informed, and everything runs smoothly.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer service skills
- Professional phone presence
- Computer skills including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
- Ability to work Saturdays (Sundays always off plus one week day)
