Reporting to the Field Performance Manager, the Performance Specialist will utilize various estimating systems to review and approve estimates to insurance partner’s guidelines and requirements, while providing feedback and coaching opportunities back to locations on identified opportunities. The Performance Specialist will play a vital role in addressing client objections by working directly with our franchisees to clarify information and work through differences with our strategic partners to come to a positive solution. As part of the central review team, this individual will provide consistent coaching to our franchisees on strategic accounts to improve shop performance in relation to the insurance partner’s KPI’s. In addition, the Performance Specialist will assist with and help with the oversight in supporting franchisee day to day operations as well as our Head Office estimate compliance program.
Job Duties
- Review and approve estimates for accuracy and compliance in relation to insurers repair guidelines.
- Estimate parts and labor requirements to repair damages to vehicles.
- Provide feedback and coaching opportunities back to locations and operations team
- Constant communication with insurers and strategic partners in order to ensure and improve estimate performance and compliance.
- Support insurance programs and initiatives by ensuring compliance of each insurance company’s guidelines/SOP’s
- Assist with shop reviews to monitor and improve compliance and performance results within the organization
- Assist in developing best practices and manage estimating system profiles at the shop and partner level to create consistency
- Assess key account performance and provide shop specific coaching to improve results
- Assist in providing information for purposes of monthly/quarterly result presentations
- Look for ways to improve and streamline shop process and adherence to insurance and fleet program expectations
- Primary point of contact for franchisee questions on estimates relating to key accounts
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive industry, insurance, and/or appraisals
- Experience dealing with insurance adjusters and appraisers
- Training skills both in person and through virtual platforms
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Knowledge of automotive repair software including CCC One, Mitchell and Audatex
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- I-CAR certification or equivalent (preferred)
Work Conditions
- Travel may be required up to 50%
