We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. This role requires a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.
- Possess an extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beer and cocktails, including classic and contemporary creations.
- Provide expert recommendations based on guests' preferences and food pairings.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and glassware is spotless.
- Manage inventory and place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other bar supplies.
- Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations, including age verification and responsible serving.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport with guests and anticipating their needs.
- Contribute to the overall ambiance of the restaurant by maintaining a professional and polished appearance.
- Collaborate with the bar and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant or upscale bar.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beer and cocktail preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Must be of legal drinking age and able to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal bartending education or certification.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of wine pairings and food and beverage service.
