Our reputation for integrity and unparalleled service has made us the go-to experts for residential home electrical service. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to join our team and help take our sales operations to the next level.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager will lead and inspire our outside sales team to drive exceptional customer engagement and deliver measurable results. You’ll play a key role in coaching the team to flawlessly follow process every time, ensuring our customers receive a first-class experience every time they interact with Fixmatic Electric.
90% of this position involves interacting with techs and customers by phone and texting apps. There is no face-to-face customer interaction. There is a lot of face-to-face tech coaching time.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and coach the outside sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
- Sales Strategy: Flawlessly execute our sales strategy to meet or exceed targets.
- Performance Metrics: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating wins.
- Customer Relationships: Ensure the team delivers outstanding service, building trust and loyalty with our customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and field teams to create a seamless customer journey.
- Optimize Sales Appointments: Assign and dispatch techs to jobs based on potential profitability.
- Call Booking: Ensure incoming calls are answered and scheduled accordingly.
- Outbound Calling: Ensure yearly Maintenance inspections are schedule for all customers.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record in sales management, preferably in an inside sales or customer-facing role in the Home Service Industry. Some technical ability is necessary.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Experience with coaching is a must.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak with authority while maintaining respect is a must.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience through electrical safety education.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM platforms and other sales tools is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve challenges effectively and efficiently.
- Consistency: Ability to perform the same tasks over and over again without getting bored.
- Process Driven: Ability to trust a proven process and hold team members to that process.
- Time Management: Ability to think several steps ahead based on multiple scenarios. (Thinking like a chess master)
- Calm Under Pressure: Thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys problem-solving when the schedule gets hectic.
