Description
Builds custom cabinets, counters, and showcases by studying blueprints and specifications; setting-up and operating equipment; verifying dimensions; assembling and finishing components.
Duties:
- Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines and use various hand tools to fabricate and repair cabinets and showcases. Must be able to read and follow prints of items to be built.
- Set up and operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointer, mortiser, tenoner, molder, and shaper.
- Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit.
- Control costs by conserving use of equipment and supplies.
- Prepare articles for finishing.
- Laminate or edge band items as necessary and put on any required hardware
- Installers are required to travel in state and out of state
- Employees must have their own tools.
Skills/Qualifications:
Prior woodworking experience required.
