Waitress/Server

Fizzlestix is looking for a part-time Server to work the following shifts:
Monday- Thursday: 4pm-9pm, Friday - Saturday: 11am-9pm-Sunday 12-7

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Server will be responsible for providing dining services to guests in the dining room and on the tables. Responsible for greeting guests, answering questions regarding menus, taking orders, collecting payments, and assisting with special projects as assigned. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of dining room and all items within the dining area, including removing trash from the dining area and taking out table linens. Responsible for maintaining food inventory, prep supplies, equipment, and equipment supplies. Responsible for maintaining strict safety standards while serving customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greets guests in a courteous manner.

• Communicates effectively with the wait staff and servers.
• Prepares food according to standard procedures.
• Prepares all linens according to standard procedures.
• Prepares all items according to standard preparation list.
• Serves customers using knife or fork and utensils before taking them away from them by handing them their food or by presenting them with plates and utensils.
• Cleans up after serving customers using dishwashing machines or handwashing machines. Cleans up after clearing away used dishes and utensils. Ensures that all clean dishes are properly cleaned by using dishwashing machines or by using soapy water. Ensures that all clean areas are sanitized according to standard procedures. Ensures that all clean items are stored properly according to standard procedures. Ensures that all clean areas are sanitized according to standard procedures. Ensures that all clean areas are sanitized according to standard procedures. Ensures that all clean areas are sanitized according to standard procedures. Ensures that clean areas are kept clean and organized at all times according to company standards. Assists in maintaining the appearance of the dining room by setting up tables, serving food and utensils, cleaning up after serving customers, wiping down walls with wipe boards, wiping down tables with table cleaners, dusting tables with a vacuum cleaner or using an air compressor if necessary, polishing silverware as needed, cleaning windows with cleaners as needed etc., etc., etc., etc.. Performs other duties as assigned by management such as opening/closing the restaurant at night or weekends or holidays etc., etc.. This position may require working at two different locations simultaneously.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.30 - $21.55 per hour
