Responsibilities:
- Review financial records for accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide expert tax advice.
- Utilize QuickBooks and tax preparation tools for efficiency.
- Stay updated on tax regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (minimum).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in business and company tax preparation.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, particularly 1065, 1120s, and 1120 returns.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and tax preparation software (Drake).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- CPA certification or Enrolled Agent status is a plus.
- PTIN number is a plus.
