FKG Oil Company Seeks a Maintenance Technician (Equipment) to support our 80 MotoMart convenience stores across the Midwest at our headquarters in Belleville, IL.
The Maintenance Technician (Equipment) will perform skilled maintenance related to various convenience store equipment while providing guidance to Store Managers and Supervisors.
Functions
- Maintain and troubleshoot technical systems such as Intercoms, speakers, DVR, Cameras, and network cabling
- Conduct installation and maintenance on miscellaneous beverage equipment
- Thoroughly document equipment related processes for preventative planning
- Collaborate with team members, Store Managers, and Supervisors
- Communicate with warehouses and distributors to obtain supplies and repair parts
Skills
- Ability to read and understand program manuals, equipment, and mechanical aspects
- Familiarity with tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wrenches, hammers, specialized equipment, and electronic testing devices
- Possess knowledge/willingness to train on the following equipment and operations: Soda Fountain, CO2, Coffee, FDA Air Compressors, Water Filter, and related drink equipment
- Possess knowledge/willingness to train on technology equipment related to cables, surveillance cameras, and audio systems
- Basic computer knowledge
Requirements
- Must be at least 23 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to walk, crawl, climb, lift up to 75 pounds and operate 40 feet above ground
- Perform job duties while following all safety procedures and precautions
- Possesses knowledge of general maintenance equipment including hand and power tools
- Successfully work in both independent and team environments with willingness to learn new skills
Working Conditions
This is a full-time hourly position requiring occasional overtime with standard hours of 6:00 am to 2:00 pm CST. All technicians are required to be on call one week every 8 weeks.
Consists of daily travel in company vehicle to store locations with an occasional overnight stay.
