Warehouse Attendant
FKG Oil Company seeks a Warehouse Attendant for our central warehouse at our headquarters in Belleville, Illinois.
We are a family-owned company with over 900 employees, operating over 80 Moto and MotoMart convenience stores (and growing) in six states across the Midwest. Our Warehouse crew orders, unloads, receives, stores, tracks, loads, and distributes parts and equipment to keep our stores running smoothly.
Duties
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and vendor shipments
- Enter new deliveries into warehouse management software and track inventory
- Stock Product
- Pick orders and sort and prepare product for deliveries
- Conduct physical inventory
- Ensure warehouse is clean and organized
- Operate the maintenance and distribution software system
- Operate a 4k forklift
Qualifications
- Active Driver's License required
- Two years of warehouse experience
- Forklift certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat preferred
- Reading and writing ability at a high school graduate level
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 pounds, sit, stoop, kneel, walk, and climb stairs and ladders
Working Conditions
Work in a warehouse in seasonal heat and cold, with occasional outside work for in-bound or out-bound shipments. Daily interface and communication with maintenance crew, vendors, delivery drivers, and office personnel both verbally and in writing.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Expected schedule is Monday – Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Minimum pay $18 hr
