About Us : The Fall Line, a private, members-only golf and sporting club nestled in the sandhills of Southwest, Georgia. Our dedication to excellence sets us apart, with high standards that extend beyond the golf course to every aspect of our services. Our culinary operations span multiple kitchens, including the main clubhouse, casual dining areas, event spaces, and other food service locations. The culinary team plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality dining experiences, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team and contribute to our outstanding food service.
Position Overview : The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to the club’s high standards. This role involves working on the line during service, ensuring that dishes are prepared to order, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, a strong work ethic, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Food Preparation :
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
Work efficiently on the line during service, managing multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
Assist with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels and reporting any shortages to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
Ensure that all food items meet the club’s quality standards for taste, appearance, and portion size.
Work closely with other kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
Participate in special events, banquets, and catering functions as required, contributing to the preparation and execution of customized menu items.
Perform other related duties as required to support the overall operations of the club.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Culinary Arts degree or certification preferred.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation.
