Delivering quality professional nursing care to the Medical Oncology patient, working as an integral part of the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians/nurses regarding patient treatment plans, performing detailed assessments of patients. This is a Full-time position. Position Purpose: Delivering quality professional nursing care to the Medical Oncology patient, working as an integral part of the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians/nurses regarding patient treatment plans, performing detailed assessments of patients. What you will do: * Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients’ needs. * Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development. * Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients *Assists physician/conducts treatments/procedures *Interacts in an open, cooperative fashion with associates, physicians, patients and all other contacts within the Holy Cross Medical Group and Holy Cross Hospital to create a positive work climate, high associate morale and a superb image and reputation of our institution. * Removes staples and suture Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Bachelor’s is required.
