Procedures include neuro interventional (stroke, repair of cerebral aneurysms, etc.), general IR (peripheral vascular angiography with endovascular repair, endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, nephrostomies, gastrostomies, biliary drainages/stent placements, etc), and bronchoscopy procedures (including endobronchial ultrasound guided biopsies, navigational bronchocopies, pulmonary valve placements, etc.). You will assist in monitoring patients undergoing procedures, appropriately administering medications/contrast media and accurately documents activities; assists in the performance of Nuclear Medicine procedures and all related duties as assigned. Nurses are scheduled to work daytime 9 or 10 hour shifts (6a-4:30p / 6:30a-5p / 6:45a-4:15p) depending upon the needs of the department. Nurses are also required to take call as our department has a team available to cover emergencies 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred. Experience & Skills: Minimum of 2 yrs experience in a ED, critical care or radiology area required. Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations. Licensure/Certification: Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Florida is required.
