Job Title: Outpatient Clinician
Location: Finger Lakes Region, NY

Job Summary:

The Outpatient Clinician provides comprehensive clinical services to clients served by FLACRA’s outpatient programs. This role involves diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery and well-being in alignment with FLACRA’s mission, vision, and values.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Human Services with three years of relevant experience.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Qualified Health Professional (QHP) certification required.
• Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in Health/Human Services or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs, including primary and secondary diagnoses, and determine appropriate treatment modalities.
• Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual, conjoint, family, and group therapy, tailored to client needs.
• Manage intake and caseload independently while consulting as needed on complex diagnostic or treatment issues.
• Actively participate in agency staff meetings, in-service training, and supervisory sessions.
• Foster positive relationships with community groups, referral sources, and service agencies.
• Deliver presentations and training programs to community stakeholders as needed.
• Support clients in developing interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and cooperative behavior.
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with FLACRA, OASAS, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Uphold professionalism by providing quality care with respect and dignity, representing FLACRA positively in all interactions.
• Utilize the outreach board to coordinate client care and meet identified needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with culturally diverse individuals, staff, and community service providers.
• Familiarity with the local behavioral health system and resources.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure in crisis situations.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Skilled in crisis intervention and mobile response services.
• Comfortable providing services in both community and crisis settings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
