Job Title: Director of Maxwell Hall
Location: Clifton Springs, NY

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8a-4p, Saturday 10a-6p
Job Summary:
The Director of Residential Services – Maxwell Hall is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, compliance, and overall success of FLACRA’s residential programming. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality clinical care , adherence to programmatic goals , and regulatory compliance, while providing direct support and supervision to residential staff. The Director will develop effective partnerships , foster team collaboration , and maintain a positive work environment aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid NYS Driver’s License.
- 3 years of experience in behavioral health or a related field.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience
- Proven ability to maintain high standards in program planning and performance .
- Qualified Health Professional (QHP) status.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CASAC certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Human Services.
- Experience in developing and implementing new programs.
- Familiarity with community outreach, crisis response, and maintaining safety in the field.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven leadership and management skills , including team supervision, coaching, and administration.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in behavioral health systems and knowledge of local mental health and addiction recovery services .
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to handle crises with professionalism , ensuring client and staff safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Compliance:
- Develop and uphold standards of practice for program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Ensure adherence to clinical and regulatory guidelines in all aspects of the Part 820 Residential Program.
- Oversee the scheduling and facilitation of individual and group therapy sessions, as well as provider appointments.
- Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly program tasks, including accurate documentation and reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate program success through performance tracking, statistical data, and measurable outcomes.
Staff Supervision & Development:
- Direct and supervise staff performance, training, and clinical development to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct weekly clinical supervision to ensure high standards of care and professional growth.
- Recruit, screen, and interview prospective staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Assess staff training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives.
- Provide structured onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring timely completion of training requirements.
Care Coordination & Community Engagement:
- Oversee care coordination workflows to ensure smooth transitions for residents.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community groups, referral sources, and service agencies.
- Represent FLACRA at management meetings, community events, and provider collaborations.
- Lead team-building activities and motivational staff engagement initiatives.
Operational Oversight & Crisis Management:
- Maintain and monitor staffing schedules, ensuring alignment between scheduled and actual hours worked.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond appropriately to crisis situations to secure the well-being of clients and staff.
- Ensure electronic medical records (EHR) are maintained accurately and updated promptly.
- Lead and contribute to management meetings, offering insight into residential program development and strategic planning.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct monthly program reviews to assess developments, achievements, and areas for growth.
- Implement quality assurance measures to enhance program effectiveness.
- Maintain required regulatory and agency-specific reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
