Ontario County DSS Case Manager - FLACRA
Full-Time Position
Job Summary:
The Ontario County DSS Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to individuals in need of addiction treatment. This role includes client assessments, referral coordination, and therapeutic support, all while upholding FLACRA's mission and values.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Health or Human Services
- Valid NYS Driver’s License and ability to use a personal vehicle for client visits
- Ability to accurately administer and monitor drug tests with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with diverse individuals, staff, and community service providers
- Knowledge of local behavioral health systems
- Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations
- Experience with electronic records (E-records)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Experience in case management
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and assess clients for further counseling needs
- Participate in staff meetings and supervisory sessions
- Maintain positive relationships with community groups, referral sources, and service agencies
- Offer counseling to help clients develop interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Respond to crisis and emergency situations to ensure client safety and well-being
- Complete all required documentation in compliance with agency and OASAS regulations
- Participate in community presentations and training programs
- Provide therapeutic services through individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Use independent judgment to manage client intake and service loads

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
