Job Description : CNC Machinist
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 year experience in a related field or industry.
Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills required.
Familiarity with CNC machining methods is necessary.
Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Must comply with U.S. export control regulations, which require applicants to be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or U.S. Permanent Resident) or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from a relevant government agency.
Responsibilities :
Operate 2-5 axis CNC and automated lathe machines under direct supervision to produce complex aerospace components.
Perform in-process inspections of machined parts using basic shop math, hand measurement tools, and complete necessary documentation.
Conduct deburring operations and perform basic preventative maintenance tasks, including monitoring coolant and lube levels and maintaining a clean work area.
Inspect produced components against blueprints using standard inspection techniques.
Load and unload parts in accordance with work holding methods as per setup.
Replace broken cutting tools or inserts as needed.
Complete work order documentation following AS9100 quality standards.
Perform light maintenance duties on equipment.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts during daily tasks.
Benefits :
Hourly wage : $19.50 - $30.00 (USD), depending on experience and qualifications.
