CNC Mill/Lathe Setup & Operator Aerospace Industry
Location: Brea, CA
Shift: 2nd Shift (M-F 3pm - 11:30p) Must be open to training on 1st shift for about 3 weeks.
Pay: $28-$32
About the Role:
FLAG-Solutions is hiring a CNC Mill/Lathe Setup & Operator on behalf of our client, a leading Aerospace manufacturer. This role involves setting up and operating CNC Mills or Lathes to produce high-precision aerospace components. Experience with Haas machines is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Mills or Lathes to manufacture aerospace components
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and appropriate machine settings
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
2 years of CNC machining experience (Mill or Lathe)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Experience with Haas CNC machines preferred
Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Aerospace or precision machining experience preferred
Salary : $28 - $32
