What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Specialist position at Flag Solutions?
Key Responsibilities :
- Move parts in timely manner to next operation
- Expedite work orders thru manufacturing processes to achieve monthly targets
- Follow up on critical orders on a daily basis
- Work with planner, procurement, product engineer and quality engineer to move parts on hold
- Updates MRP system upon moving parts to next operation
- Help production to perform 100% sort or rework if needed
- Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers, and suppliers
- Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions. Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor
- Able to work with minimum or no supervision
- Practice 5S standards and keep area clean daily
