Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping / Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed efficiently and accurately while maintaining compliance with aerospace quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Shipping :
Prepare and package aerospace components for shipment according to customer and industry specifications.
- Create shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and export compliance forms.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments in the company's ERP system.
Receiving :
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and aerospace standards.
Inventory Management :
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Compliance and Safety :
Ensure adherence to ITAR, AS9100, and other aerospace quality standards during shipping and receiving processes.
