Job Summary :
The Spindle Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining spindle machinery to produce high-precision shaving points for aerospace components. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with tight tolerances, maintain high-quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
- Machine Operation : Operate spindle machines to produce shaving points according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Setup and Calibration : Perform machine setup, including tooling changes, calibration, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspection : Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, and gauges) to inspect components and ensure compliance with tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintenance : Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of spindle machinery to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of production runs, inspections, and machine maintenance logs.
