Flagger Force, an industry leader in traffic control, is currently hiring a Business Development Specialist. This position will be based out of our corporate campus, located in Hummelstown, PA.
The Business Development Specialist position is primarily responsible for conducting market research, developing and maintaining strategic client and field operation partnerships, and creating effective sales strategy using associated analytics while acting in accordance with all company values, vision and mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and establish strategic partnerships with new and existing clients, including conducting sales analysis and identifying potential sales opportunities within a provided service territory.
- Prepare and provide estimates and sales information to new and existing businesses on a timely basis.
- Follow up on all estimates within the allotted time frame.
- Answer customer questions related to services, prices, etc., including customer calls and emails.
- Consult with clients after sales or bid agreements to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Provide superior customer service support and serve as an escalation point for client issues and concerns.
- Identify prospective customers and other market opportunities to grow retail sales.
- Expand current client usage levels by identifying additional business opportunities.
- Responsible for reporting, tracking, analytics, and monitoring individual lead and sales opportunity ratios and presenting results on weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
- Work with Field and Operations Teams to arrange and ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Monitor market conditions, service innovations, and competitors’ services, prices, and sales.
- Participate in monthly 1 v 1’s, weekly team meetings, and client meetings as required.
- Perform special projects as needed or assigned by Business Development Leadership. Responsible for helping to develop and execute department objectives and supporting company shared objectives.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field required; equivalency in experience or combination of education and experience considered
- 2 years of business development/sales experience
- Exceptional verbal, written, analytical and reasoning skills Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office software systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior CRM experience preferred
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Prior construction or industry related experience preferred
