Flagger Force , an industry leader in traffic control, is currently hiring a Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations Manager . This position will operate out of our corporate campus, located in Hummelstown, PA
The Operations & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing supply chain and warehouse operations across multiple territories. This leadership role is focused on optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process—from strategic procurement to distribution—while driving operational efficiency across facilities and field teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in logistics, inventory management, vendor relations, equipment maintenance, and team supervision within a dynamic, operations driven industry.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage Warehouse Supervisors and Fleet Supervisor
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships for materials and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Oversee purchasing and expense purchase order (EPO) management in compliance with corporate policy.
- Plan and manage inventory levels across multiple locations.
- Ensure proper stock availability and implement replenishment strategies.
- Lead Supervisors and local teams in maintaining equipment levels and warehouse efficiency.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Manage transportation and logistics strategy to ensure timely delivery and recovery of equipment.
- Oversee fleet and warehouse team efforts in truck upfitting, fleet redistribution, telematics support, and auction returns.
- Oversee compliance efforts to ensure DOT and local regulatory compliance.
Facilities & Equipment Oversight
- Lead warehouse projects to maximize productivity, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
- Develop preventive maintenance (PM) programs and incident response documentation to support fleet and field operations with facility upkeep and equipment allocation.
- Manage Warehouse Supervisors, Coordinators, and Operations staff across territories.
- Partners with departments like Dispatch, Fleet, Safety, and Field Operations to align goals and processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and ethical conduct.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Define and monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy, lead times, asset use, and warehouse performance.
- Analyze operational challenges and provide strategic, data-driven solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain/warehouse operations, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), inventory and ERP systems.
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to reliable transportation.
