Flagger Force , an industry leader in traffic control, is currently hiring a Warehouse Operations Coordinator. This position will be based out of our Charlotte, NC market. This position will require an estimated 50% travel to required markets throughout Flagger Force's footprint in efforts to support new and emerging warehouses and to provide coverage as needed in other various established markets. A company vehicle is provided for this opportunity.
The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for the training of team members, implementation of procedures, inventory, storage, and distribution of warehouse equipment and supplies while acting in accordance with company values, vision, and mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop personnel and establish market support
- Travel to establishing and new markets to implement and train warehouse locations/personnel
- Prepare facility
- Prepare equipment
- Train local field leadership team members on Warehouse procedures
- Inventory
- Equipment upkeep
- Truck processing
- Purchase Orders/Shipping/Receiving
- Travel to other markets for support and training
- Train and assist other fleet and warehouse employees in warehouse tasks, processes, and responsibilities
- Address all service, maintenance, supply, and parts requests in a timely manner
- Promptly complete all documentation associated with service, maintenance, supplies, and parts
- Prep, clean, and detail fleet vehicles to company standards in a timely manner
- Perform repair work on vehicles and equipment as needed
- Install, troubleshoot, repair fleet systems (GPS, Cameras, etc.)
- Review shipping and receiving orders for accuracy
- Comply with all fleet and equipment policies and procedures, including but not limited to purchasing, spending limits, work orders, and repair authorizations
- Ensure all warehouse materials have been returned to their normal position at the end of each shift
- Inventory and maintain warehouse equipment and supplies
- Analyzes problems by evaluating available information and resources; develops effective, viable solutions to problems to drive efficiency and meet goals; many times, with limited information and under tight deadlines and pressure
- Comply with all fleet and equipment policies and procedures, including but not limited to purchasing, spending limits, work orders, and repair authorizations
- Approves repairs for fleet vehicles as required
- Operate and relocate equipment as needed
- Escalate, if necessary, any issues or problems to warehouse supervisor promptly
- Ensure that all service, maintenance, supply, and parts requests are addressed in a timely manner
- Conduct general facility maintenance as required Influence valuable change and positive outcomes for team members

- Valid driver's license in accordance with Flagger Force motor vehicle record standards
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card
- Demonstrated mechanical experience and tool knowledge

- Previous experience with email and Microsoft Office programs
- Past vocation training in related fields preferred
- Electrical systems and wiring experience preferred
- ASE Certification preferred
