Job Summary
Lawn Technicians, also known as Grounds Technicians, play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and safety of Flagship Communities. Their responsibilities include performing various landscaping maintenance duties, snow removal (when applicable), and ensuring the community's grounds are well-manicured and debris-free.
This position requires individuals who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality customer service to residents and guests. Key responsibilities include:
•Performing routine landscaping tasks such as mowing lawns, weeding, planting flowers, plowing snow, removing debris, and maintaining common areas.
•Operating hand tools and power equipment, including blowers, mowers, drills, and commercial machinery to perform maintenance or repair duties.
•Inspecting irrigation systems to ensure they are working properly and making repairs as needed.
•Picking up trash and debris from common areas and streets daily and emptying common area trash containers regularly.
•Maintaining community equipment and reporting any issues or concerns identified while performing daily duties to management.
•Ensuring the community adheres to Flagship Communities' curb appeal standards and is presentable at all times.
•Safely operating vehicles for job-related purposes and following established safety procedures.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong knowledge of general grounds maintenance techniques and have experience with lawn care. They should also be able to lift at least 25 pounds and provide legible written reports.
