Analyst

Flagship Healthcare Properties is a fully integrated commercial real estate firm focused on clinical outpatient healthcare real estate. The Analyst is an entry level position for a self-motivated team player with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills. This position will work with and be a resource to the firm’s acquisition, development, asset management, and investor relations departments.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Underwrite and perform extensive financial modeling of prospective investments (acquisitions, developments, expansions, conversions, dispositions, etc.) on behalf of the firm using Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise.

·     Analyze and help present investment opportunities to the firm’s investment committee.

·     Assist Flagship’s marketing department with the creation of formal investment memorandums for the firm’s investment committee and debt and equity partners.

·     Assist Flagship’s Business Development team in sourcing off‐market acquisition, development, and conversion opportunities.

·     Assist the Acquisitions and Development departments on due diligence efforts and will be a crucial part of the closing process.

·     Assist Flagship’s Asset Management team prepare quarterly board meeting materials which will include valuations and the board book. Additionally, will help the AM team with portfolio management responsibilities, dispositions, and other ad hoc analyses.

·     Work closely with Vice President and Managing Director of Investments in managing firm’s existing debt and sourcing financing on new investments.

Qualifications and Skills:

·     Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or other related discipline.

·     Argus Enterprise experience is a plus, however training can be provided for otherwise well-qualified candidates.

·     Microsoft Excel proficiency, particularly as it relates to financial modeling.

·     Working knowledge of commercial real estate markets and related financial concepts.

·     Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·     A positive attitude, problem solving abilities, organizational and analytical skills.

·     The ability to think and work both independently and in a team environment.

·     The ability to multi‐task and prioritize multiple projects.

·     Attention to detail.
