Accountable for directing the information and data integrity of the enterprise and its groups and for all Information Technology functions of the Bank. This includes all data centers, technical services, operation production scheduling functions, help desk, communication networks (data and voice), computer program development, computer systems operations, maintaining the integrity of all electronic and optical data and records of the Bank. Provides overall management and definition of all computer and communication activities within the enterprise including responsibility for providing a leadership role in the day to day operation of the Information Technology functions as well as providing direction as the enterprise grows through internal growth and external acquisition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and directs the short and long-term IT strategic technology plans, architecture, standards, policies and procedures for IT Management and Bank-wide IT governance. Determines the Bank's long-term systems needs and any hardware acquisitions needed to accomplish the organization's business objectives. Member of the IT Steering Committee and provides a quarterly IT Report to the Board. Chair of the Bank's Project Review Board.
- Identify emerging information technologies to be analyzed, assimilated and integrated within the organization. Lead and implement successful strategic initiatives, selecting software and hardware, evaluating and selecting vendors ensuring compatibility and compliance with existing standards. Manages the implementation of useful technology to increase information accessibility and integrated systems management. Adapts systems through the use of existing technologies as well as develops new technologies to expand corporate technological capabilities. Involved with driving the analysis and re-engineering of existing business processes, identifying and developing the capability to use new tools, reshaping the enterprise's physical infrastructure and network access.
- Responsible for the planning forecast and oversight of the overall IT Operating Budget, IT Capital Budget and expenditures for IT.
- Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining the Bank's Information Technology's Enterprise Security (e.g., data, systems, network and / or web) Disaster Recovery Program, SOX Controls, Enterprise Risk Management, Incident and Crisis Management investigations and resolutions and the Enterprise wide Vendor Management Program.
- Develops annual technology plan; performs research, evaluates, recommends, seeks funding, and develops capital and maintenance budgets for all aspects of LAN's, WAN's, and PC systems. Develops IT policies and procedures.
- Supervise / manage / direct the selection, training, development appraisal and work assignments of staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and / or Human Resources.
