The Role
We are seeking a Principal Scientist specializing in high-throughput imaging to lead the development of innovative imaging-based solutions for established cell lines, primary cells, and stem cells. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in imaging modalities, data analysis, and assay development to advance our drug discovery platform. Leadership experience and the ability to foster collaboration across teams are essential.

The Role
We are seeking a Principal Scientist specializing in high-throughput imaging to lead the development of innovative imaging-based solutions for established cell lines, primary cells, and stem cells. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in imaging modalities, data analysis, and assay development to advance our drug discovery platform. Leadership experience and the ability to foster collaboration across teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of high-throughput cell-based assay workflows for various cell types, including established lines, primary cells, and stem cells.
- Design, validate, and implement advanced imaging assays for phenotypic screening, functional characterization, and mechanistic studies.
- Develop automated imaging pipelines in collaboration with automation engineers, ensuring robust integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate AI-guided analysis and molecular design into imaging workflows.
- Analyze large-scale imaging datasets, extracting quantitative insights to support discovery and development goals.
- Stay at the forefront of high-content imaging, microscopy, and image analysis technologies.
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience in high-throughput imaging and automation.
- Proven expertise in imaging techniques such as fluorescence microscopy, high-content screening, and live-cell imaging.
- Experience with image analysis software and proficiency in coding for data analysis (Python preferred).
- Strong track record in developing assays for primary and stem cells.
- Familiarity with AI-driven analysis and its application in imaging is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
