Position Summary:
We are seeking a high motivated Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist to execute target validation experiments using in vitro model systems aimed to validate targets identified through our platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of senior members of the team and assist in designing and implementing research protocols.
- Perform laboratory experiments and apply various laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, Western blotting, and primary cell isolation and culture.
- Conduct in vitro and ex vivo assays, such as but not limited to overexpression, knockdown, knockout on primary cells, stimulation, and cytokine profile or functional assays.
- Collect, analyze and interpret scientific data accurately.
- Maintain precise experimental records and documentation.
- Contribute to the preparation of research articles, reports and presentations.
- Follow lab safety procedures and rules to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and future plans.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Immunology or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of laboratory research experience.
- Previous experience with immunological assays such as ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and iPSC and/or primary cell culture techniques.
- Previous experience with CRISPR
- Familiarity with RNAseq.
- Previous experience with lentiviral transductions or AAV transfection/transduction is a plus.
- Good data organization, management, and analysis skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail, ensuring robust and consistent experimental results.
- Prior experience in an industrial setting, and familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) as well as proficiency in the use of Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
