Position Summary:
FL108 is seeking a highly motivated (Senior) Scientist, Cell Biologist to play a vital role in the company’s efforts to design and test novel delivery approaches. The candidate must be independent, goal oriented, have excellent communication skills and be willing to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to design, plan and execute experiments that support research activities, project goals and platform development.
- Establish quantitative cell assays to measure cell targeting, internalization and delivery of various payloads
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents and instruments
- Troubleshoot challenging technical, experimental and instrumental issues
- Meticulously record and analyze data
- Serve as a key contributor to the development of new technologies in genetic medicines.
- PhD in cell biology or related field
- Experience in developing quantitative assays for cell targeting and payload delivery
- Hands-on experience with generating cell lines (stable or transient)
- Hands-on experience with fluorescence-based complementation assays
- Experience with confocal imaging
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical information in a clear and thorough manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- A dynamic problem solver and self-starter
- Candidates of various experience levels will be considered. Position to be determined commensurate with experience.
- Experience with molecular biology and cellular assays with a variety of readout technologies, such as qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
- Experience in oligo therapeutics is a plus
- Experience in AOCs & ADCs is a plus
