Position: Staff Accountant
Location: Flagship Restaurant Group – Omaha, NE

Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position are the daily posting of sales records, weekly bank reconciliations and monthly sales tax reporting. This person will also assist the Controller with monthly financial statements preparation and review.
Compensation Benefits:
- $60,000 – 65,000 annual salary

Qualifications:
- Prior Accounting work history required. Preferred in the restaurant industry but not required.
- Prior history of multi-state sales tax filings.
- Above average computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel; ability to learn Flagship software quickly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Above average organizational, planning, and time management proficiency skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and post daily sales records from restaurants in Compeat software for accuracy.
- Process weekly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, including reconciling store deposits (cash and credit card), and researching and entering invoices and payments.
- Monthly processing of Sales tax returns.
- Dispute any chargebacks weekly we receive.
- Complete journal entries to help with monthly financial statement preparation.
- Assist in yearly audit preparation.
- Other Accounting duties as assigned.
