Empress is a privately-held early-stage biotech company advancing a proprietary platform to generate small molecule drugs faster and more predictably.
Position Summary :
Empress is looking for a (senior) data scientist, Proteomics / Metabolomics to operate on a contract basis. Estimated contract is 6 months at 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with our in-house AWS infrastructure and pipeline teams to bring scale and automation to your code.
- Consider the path from our data types (metabolomics, proteomics, phosphoproteomics, chemoproteomics) to our necessary inference.
- Propose and champion solutions at all stages of this process - data generation to processing to inference - employing statistical modeling and machine learning approaches to augment our understanding.
- Improve and leverage our existing raw data processing pipelines for DDA metabolomics, DDA proteomics, and DIA proteomics.
- Collaborate closely with our chemoproteomics, synthetic biology, and metabolomics teams to build tools for the analysis, visualization, and reporting of data.
