We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) to assist Dr. Liam Bosch, an expert in total joint replacements and joint revisions for the knee and hip.

Dr. Liam Bosch, MD, is a highly respected adult reconstructive surgeon who specializes in total joint replacements of the knee and hip, as well as joint revisions. His surgical expertise has made a lasting impact on his patients' lives, helping them regain mobility and get back to the activities they love. Dr. Bosch recently became a partner in our practice and is now ready to expand his work with a dedicated, full-time PA by his side. He hopes to find someone who will work alongside him for years to come, becoming an integral part of his team and contributing to the growth of the practice.
Position Highlights:
- Surgical Assisting Role: Assist Dr. Bosch in the OR, primarily at our Ambulatory Surgical Center, and the local hospital.
- Clinic-Based Role: On non-surgical days, you will provide patient care, diagnosing and treating knee and hip conditions in our clinic. You will also perform knee and hip injections and learn to use ultrasound for needle guidance in hip injections.
- Outreach Clinics: You will also perform outreach clinics 1-2 times per month, helping expand Dr. Bosch’s practice and provide care to a broader community.
- Hospital Rounds: Dr. Bosch and the PA will split hospital rounding duties. The PA can expect to round once a month, typically in the morning (Thursday through the weekend until patients are discharged, usually by Saturday or Sunday).
- Mentorship and Career Growth: Dr. Bosch is eager to mentor a new graduate and help develop your skills in this specialized field, creating an opportunity for long-term professional growth.
- Work-Life Balance: There is NO trauma call responsibility providing you with a balanced professional life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative care.
- Perform patient assessments, including history and physical examinations.
- Collaborate with Dr. Bosch to diagnose and develop treatment plans for knee and hip conditions.
- Perform knee and hip injections, with the opportunity to learn ultrasound-guided needle procedures for hip injections.
- Administer treatments, manage post-surgical care, and facilitate referrals as needed.
- Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in rounds as needed.
- Outreach clinic responsibilities 1-2 times per month at various locations.

The base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 -$150,000, depending on experience, with eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a focus on surgical care.
- Current Arizona licensure as a PA-C.
- National certification and current ACLS and BLS certification.
- Documented completion of a surgical first assist program or equivalent surgical assisting experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling high-stress situations effectively.
- Ideal for a new graduate eager to grow in a surgical setting.
