Flagstaff Bone & Joint (FBJ) is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified (BE/BC), Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine Surgeon to join our well-established, physician-led private practice in Flagstaff, Arizona—a four-season mountain town renowned for its outdoor recreation, vibrant culture, and high quality of life.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated surgeon to establish a thriving practice, integrate into the Northern Arizona medical community, and become a partner in a dynamic, independent orthopaedic group.
About the Position
- Focus Areas: Comprehensive sports medicine care, general orthopaedics (shoulder, elbow, hip, knee), as well as unicompartmental and total knee replacements, and hip replacements
- Outpatient Surgery-Oriented: Prioritizing minimally invasive and outpatient procedures
- Outreach Clinics: Willingness to travel 2-4 times per month to outreach locations to expand patient care access
- No Trauma Call: No hospital orthopaedic trauma call responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Building: Seeking a candidate with strong diagnostic skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative leadership mindset
- Fellowship Training: Completion of a surgical sports medicine fellowship is required
