Status : Part-time, full-time or PRN
Schedule : Needed in the Flagstaff Clinic every Wednesday and Thursday. Also needed in the Cottonwood Clinic twice a month : every first Monday and fourth Monday. Other days and hours in Flagstaff will vary.
Pay : DOE (depending on experience)
Responsibilities include :
The Nerve Conduction Technologist is responsible for performing routine and complex Nerve Conduction Studies (NCSs) using state-of-the-art Cadwell Sierra Wave equipment. Duties include but are not limited to access and review the patient's electronic health record, explain nerve conduction study procedure to patient, obtain patient consent, perform nerve conduction studies as directed by physician, maintain patient safety throughout the nerve conduction study, report nerve conduction study findings to physician, assist physician with electromyography (EMG) by setting up EMG equipment and operating program, print tabular data and upload to patient's electronic health record per policy and procedure.
Additionally, the Nerve Conduction Technologist will maintain cleanliness and order of exam rooms, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, and stock supplies as needed.

- Must be comfortable interacting with patients in a clinical setting.
- Must be comfortable with varied hours and work schedule (insert weekly hour range)
- Professionalism is a must.
- Friendly, reliable, and good communication skills are essential for this position.
- Intermediate computer literacy skills and keyboard proficiency are required.
- Familiarity with Athena EMR software and / or Cadwell Sierra Summit equipment is helpful, but not mandatory. Training will be available if unfamiliar with either program.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- General hands-on medical clinic experience required.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the performance of nerve conduction studies.
- Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) preferred.
- Must be flexible in terms of traveling to the Cottonwood satellite location
