Job Type : Full-time (or will consider part-time for a 2-yr commitment)
Monday - Friday, 7 : 55 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- early / late days are available
STARTING Pay : $18.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE, with merit increase potential every February

Serving as one of the most valuable members of the FBJ team - you are a patient's FIRST IMPRESSION of usFast learning and retention of healthcare industry knowledge, i.e. medical terminology, services, anatomy, insurance, authorizations, EMRs, and more.Heavy phone use, answering a multi-line phone as the first point of contact for the clinicCross-training in front office reception greeting patients, and checking them in and out for appointmentsAnswering a multi-line phone and serving as the first point of contact for patientsField a variety of inquiries, requests, and conversations with patientsSchedule patient appointments for a multi-provider practiceAssist with and / or relay patient requests / questions to clinical staffMonitor provider schedules to ensure scheduling accuracyPerform various admin duties such as processing referrals, medical records, and test resultsOther administrative projects / duties as directedRequirements
Position Requirements and Preferences :
General understanding of outpatient services, patient flow, and general healthcare businessMedical office and billing / insurance verification experience preferableExceptional customer service skillsAble to handle a high volume of phone calls with daily targetsMust believe in a patient-centered approachOutstanding teamwork attitudeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsLearn and work at an efficient and fast paceMust be self-motivated, with a great personality, fun to be around, and engaging on the phoneFBJ offers the following benefit programs (for full-time employees) :
