Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Active, unrestricted, Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license NIH Stroke Certification Job Details Position / Specialty : OR RN Shift : 1 X 12 - 1030-2300, 3 X 8 - 1430-2300 Ratios : 1 : 1 Years of experience REQ : 2 Years First-timers accepted : Yes Weekend REQ : As needed, usually every 3rd weekend On-Call REQ : Up to 8 weekday shifts, up to 9 (12 hour) weekend call shifts in a 13-week period Floating Requirements : No Blocked Scheduling : Not guaranteed but unit will do their best to accommodate Locals accepted : Yes Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week, facility is allowed to call off 6x throughout a 13-week assignment. Special Requirements : Level 1 trauma center OR with 11 rooms of high volume ortho, trauma and spine cases. All other specialties. Minimal peds. Job Requirements Active, unrestricted, Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license - Required 2 Years of experience in OR required Experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (specifically craniotomies) required Level I trauma experience preferred Schedule Information 1 X 12 - 1030-2300 3 X 8 - 1430-2300 Weekend REQ : As needed, usually every 3rd weekend On-Call REQ : Up to 8 weekday shifts, up to 9 (12 hour) weekend call shifts in a 13-week period Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Unit Specific Information Level 1 trauma center OR with 11 rooms of high volume ortho, trauma and spine cases.
