~Food Runner/Busser~
Carved through the Ponderosa Pines of the Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club is a nationally recognized and awarded private club. The Jerry Pate Design Golf Course was named as one of the top 20 golf courses in Arizona by Golf Digest in 2020 & 2021. The gated community that is Flagstaff Ranch has been identified as one of the top 100 Gated Residential Communities in America. Flagstaff Ranch is located just west of historic Flagstaff, Arizona. The golf course is open for six months each year between the months of late April and end of October.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
- Follow instructions and work as a team player to allow for best member experience
- Delivering Food:
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the appropriate member or guest. This requires knowing the menu and understanding the layout of the restaurant.
- Ensuring Accuracy:
- Make sure the order is correct before delivering to the table. This includes checking that the correct items, side, condiments, and garnishes are present.
- Guest Interaction:
- Some food runners may also check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with their meal.
- Timely Service:
- Food runners should be efficient and quick, as delays can affect the dining experience. The goal is to deliver food while it is still hot and fresh.
- Clearing Tables:
- After guests finish their meals, bussers clear dishes, glassware, and utensils, keeping the dining are tidy and ready for new guests.
- Assisting Servers:
- Bussers may help servers with refilling drinks, bringing extra napkins, or helping with other small tasks.
- Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Keeping the restaurant clean, including sweeping or mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and organizing dining areas.
Requirements: Previous serving experience preferred - Title 4 certificate Familiarity with restaurant operations - Positive and friendly attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Season: The golf season opening day is April 25th and closing day is October 25th.
Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour. Hourly may increase depending on experience.
Experience: Restaurant experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Individual Characteristics: Dedicated and hard-working individuals that get along well with people. The candidates must possess a can-do attitude and willingness to help others
Employee Benefits: Golf privileges are limited to a time available basis Monday thru Thursday after 2:00pm. All individuals must adhere to the member guidelines with respect to golf etiquette, club rules and proper attire. Use of the practice-tee is prohibited. An employee meal will also be provided and an opportunity to be awarded employee of the month and/or year.
