Job Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and Manage an Enterprise Valuation Operation: Design, implement and manage an EV framework for the C&PB organization, ensuring processes and tools align with organizational goals. Assess staffing requirements and third-party resource needs. Ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved, including Credit Risk, and applicable approvals are obtained.
- Perform & Oversee Valuation Analyses: Manage the execution of enterprise valuations using both onshore and offshore resources, ensuring the accuracy and quality of all valuation deliverables. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with Internal Partners: Collaborate with underwriting deal teams on valuation analyses and provide insights that drive informed credit decisions. Work closely with the Outsourcing Leader for Credit Products to identify, onboard, and manage third-party resources for EV needs, optimizing efficiency and maintaining high standards of performance.
- Communication & Process Management: Partner with the Credit Products Operations team to ensure seamless communication and integration of EV valuation support into existing workflows. Provide clear updates and training on processes related to EV support.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to address complex valuation questions and deliver customized solutions for deal-specific scenarios.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge about credit offerings (products and services), risk management, and internal policies and procedures.
- Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions related to EV or third-party support.
- Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to EV or related support.
- Responsible for talent management functions including: employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Finance or related field.
- Minimum experience required: 7 Years of experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Experience performing Enterprise Valuations.
- Experience leading a team.
- Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent)
- Knowledge of underwriting principles and the role of enterprise valuations in credit decision-making.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to design and manage an EV operation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all level of management and staff.
- Occasional travel to hub markets including Beverly Hills, New York, Michigan and others TBD.
- Physical demands (ADA): No unusual physical exertion is involved.
