Position Summary
Will be responsible for the safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs, as well as performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging machinery, pneumatic systems, motor controls, and miscellaneous industrial electrical wiring. Must ensure efficient production and compliance with all Company quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with all plant equipment (e.g., mechanical drive systems and pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot/repair electrical problems with plant and packaging/processing equipment such as wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor. o Equipment types: vertical and horizontal platforms, Ishida Scales, Fillers, conveyors box erectors, palletizers.
• Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and machine vision (Cognex / Keyence).
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Design/fabricate replacement parts or equipment as needed.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs (e.g., air conditioning, lights, forklifts).
• Report food safety and quality problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education/Experience)
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-year degree in electronic and/or maintenance mechanics or 3 years in maintenance mechanics roles or 5 years of plant maintenance mechanic experience; preferably in a food processing facility.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Knowledge of general maintenance activities and procedures.
• Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutions.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must Have
• Experience working with Oil Roaster and Dry Roaster.
• Food Safety experience.
• LoTo (Lock Out Tag Out) experience.

This position requires a flexible schedule all days and shifts of the week.
1st shift is 5:30am-1:30pm, 2nd shift is 1:30-9:30pm, and there will be need for 3rd shift as well. Overtime is required.
