Job Purpose
Flagstone Healthcare is looking for a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse who will use your experience as an RN and your knowledge of state regulations to aide each facility with their clinical needs as part of a team of resources for multiple buildings. You will be a "First Responder" to the clinical staff when they need assistance, as well as aide in the preparation of facility audits and state visits. You will also review clinical documentation and ensure that the facilities are compliant.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Clinical Resource helps provide input on, and support for, the implementation of strong clinical systems that result in the highest quality of care.
- The Clinical Resource supports the development and implementation of quality assurance measurements and audits, and assists in improving medical management processes throughout the skilled nursing facilities and market by coordinating and engaging in activities to proactively promote implementation of evidence based best practices.
- The Clinical Resource monitors, performs, and manages quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards..
- Refine clinical systems to enhance quality measures, contributing to training development.
- Conduct hands-on clinical training for staff through patient care demonstrations and documentation guidance.
- Review charts for clinical quality and documentation accuracy, taking direct corrective actions and recommending educational opportunities.
Experience/Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in California
- 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse as a department head in a long-term care facility required.
- Great people and interpersonal skills
- Up to date on all required vaccinations

Additional Information
- Salary: $120,000 to $140,000
- Travel - 75%
- Number of Positions Available: 1
- Position Type: Full Time, Employee

- Schedule: Typically, business hours but may vary depending on workload and travel needs - 40 hrs./week
- Location: The Clinical Resource regularly travels to assigned facilities; must reside in or between one of the following areas:
Stockton, CA / Sacramento, CA / Fresno, CA
