We are seeking a Financial Support Specialist to join our team!

About the Role :
As a Financial Support Specialist, you are responsible for :
Accurate and efficient processing of customer and vendor invoices and answering Customer Service Calls and Tasks in a Timely Manner
Setting up new vendors and customers, maintaining their files (including hard copies and data entry), and managing those corresponding emails and calls.
Cross-trained in all areas for back-up support to other employees (must be able to perform any of the other jobs in office).
Process POs and receivers (as well as coded invoices) daily and ensure their accuracy.
Print receiver reports, assign GL codes to coded invoices, and do POD maintenance.
Assisting with related special projects (as required).
Monitoring customer accounts for Non-Payment, late payment, and other Irregularities.
Researching and resolving payment discrepancies.
Supporting other staff, taking on month-end closing procedures, and helping with inventory tasks (as needed).
Adhering to the additional responsibilities that may be delegated from the Plant or General Manager
About You :
The ideal candidate for this role will have :
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
Good interpersonal and customer relation skills.
A working knowledge of financial business acumen.
