Key Responsibilities
Program Development and Design
- Develop and implement certification programs for operations and service teams that align with organizational objectives and industry standards.
- Create and maintain technical training curriculums for engineering teams, addressing skill gaps and career progression needs.
- Incorporate adult learning principles into program design to maximize engagement and retention.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineering leaders, and service managers to identify technical training needs and goals.
- Partner with Operations, Serving and Engineering teams to ensure training aligns with strategic objectives.
- Foster a collaborative environment that supports knowledge sharing and skill development across teams.
Implementation and Maintenance
- Lead the rollout and delivery of training programs, leveraging both in-person and digital platforms.
- Develop and manage processes for certification tracking, re-certification, and program updates to ensure long-term program sustainability.
- Regularly evaluate and update training materials to keep pace with technological and organizational changes.
- Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training program success and ROI.
- Conduct post-training evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve program effectiveness.
- Stay informed on industry trends and innovations in technical training and adult learning.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in developing and managing technical training programs, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or mining environment.
- Proven experience applying adult learning theory and instructional design principles to training initiatives.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects from concept to execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
