What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Summer 2025 Intern to join our Business Optimization team in our Evansville, Indiana location!
The Supply Chain Intern report directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain and Planning with a dotted line into the Information Technology team, the Supply Chain Intern will focus on building interactive dashboards and automate many manually ran reports. The position will work with a team of buyers, planners, and business intelligence developers to provide real-time key performance indicators. Upon the final weeks of the internship, interns will be asked to present a summary of their experience to our leadership team and be given the opportunity to provide impactful feedback.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year university/college in a relevant degree program
- Ability to work with others of diverse cultures, interpersonal styles, and abilities in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, innovative, solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for learning
Responsibilities
- Focus on building technical abilities in roles including (but not limited to): Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain Planning
- Work alongside manufacturing, IT and supply chain professionals at FLANDERS
- Participate in diverse project responsibilities within the internship program
- Engage in networking opportunities with all levels employees
- Contribute unique skills and experiences to the team
- As an intern you'll join a team with diverse project responsibilities and have valuable networking opportunities with all levels of FLANDERS employees
- Participation in comprehensive internship orientation and mentorship program with end internship capstone presentation.
