We are looking to bring in the next generation of FLANDERS employees by offering several paid and educational summer internships that will add value to our business while providing students the opportunity to learn in an innovative, encouraging, and hands on atmosphere. We will be recruiting for the following roles for the Summer of 2025.
Supply Chain: in this role you will focus on building interactive dashboards and automate many manually ran reports. The position will work with a team of buyers, planners, and business intelligence developers to provide real-time key performance indicators.
Electric Machines Engineering: in this position you will focus on supporting our Electric Machines Engineering Team by working on the design and documentation of legacy machines still in production. This role will be working in both office and manufacturing environments
Environmental Health & Safety: in this project based role you will include creating accurate and detailed Lock Out Tag Out isolation flow processes, develop a process for contractors and vendors to access FLANDERS property, and you will have the opportunity to analyze current databases and document storage systems for areas of improvement.
Human Resources & Internal Communications (Year Round Opportunity): in this position you will support the human resource team with specific projects and have the opportunity to learn about labor laws, workplace communication initiatives, and talent management strategies.
Project Management: this role will focus on supporting the planning, executing, and monitoring/controlling of project management methodologies. Projects may include project management support, development and/or continuous improvement of processes and tools, and PMO software implementation support.
Quality Engineering: you will be working on specific projects focusing on continuous improvement, developing manufacturing and product line processes, while leveraging technology to provide and document their final analysis. This role will be hands on working in both office and manufacturing environments
Controls Engineering: In this role you will be responsible for the design, build, programming, testing, and documentation for a R&D vehicle to validate engineering enhancements as they relate to GPS, LiDAR, autopropel, and controls algorithms.
Systems Validation: this position will assist a Validation Engineer with the creation and execution of validation test plans on complex automation systems consisting of operator user interfaces, system software, and PLC control systems.
