Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club is looking for Cocktail Servers to join our team.

About Us

A revolutionized dining, drinking and entertainment establishment opening mid-September across from Vivint Arena in Fountain Plaza at The Gateway. Owned and operated by Las Vegas-headquartered Carver Road Hospitality, the complex will feature a restaurant, three bars, 400-square-feet of LED screens, private karaoke and golf simulator rooms, a central nightclub and a cocktail lounge with bowling.

Open seven days a week, the restaurant will serve American bar and grill food favorites along with more eclectic offerings and playfully crafted desserts, all freshly prepared in the full kitchen.

Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic, attentive cocktail server who is committed to providing a high-quality dining experience to our customers. The cocktail waitress responsibilities include speaking with customers, taking drink and food orders, making recommendations, processing payments, and ensuring that customers needs are met and they have an excellent time. You should be a skilled multi-tasker with a passion for customer satisfaction and knowledge of wines, beer, and cocktails. To succeed as a cocktail waitress, you should be friendly, proactive, and efficient. Cocktail waitresses should also be passionate about the food and drinks they serve and creating a fun, enjoyable experience for every customer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
  • Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follows proper cash/payment card procedures.
  • Ensures the timely delivery of all beverages to the guests.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company.
  • Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards.
  • Protects establishment, guests and employees by adhering to Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  • Properly sets-up floor and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
  • Performs opening, closing and side-work.
  • Reports all breakage or damage of equipment.
  • Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.
  • Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
  • Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all employees.
  • Cleaning and clearing tables.
  • Learning about food and beverages, such as wine, beer, and cocktails.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant/ lounge.
  • Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
  • Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
  • Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • A friendly, attentive attitude.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Must be the minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws.
  • Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
