Position Summary
The Take-Out Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service while handling food and beverage orders, payments, and ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our take-out window. The Take-Out Attendant is professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates the take-out window efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate service for all guests.
- Greets and assists customers with food and beverage orders, answering any menu-related questions.
- Serve draft beer and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws (must be 21 or older).
- Handle payments using cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the take-out area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Always follows food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Provides excellent customer service by resolving any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory levels for supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
- Protects establishment, guests and employees by adhering to Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
- Coordinates with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
- Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.
- Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all employees.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or a similar role is preferred.
- Must be reliable and customer focused.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Requirements/Certifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Food Handler and Alcohol Safety required.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM 4:00 PM.
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
